Conference participants are warmly invited to join a walking tour of Jewish Vilnius to explore the rich, complex, and moving history of the Jewish community in Lithuania’s capital.

• Walk along the streets of the historic Jewish quarter
• Discover the areas of the former Vilna Ghettos from World War II
• Learn about the lives and legacy of Litvaks – Lithuanian Jews
• Understand why Vilnius was once called the “Jerusalem of Lithuania”
• Hear stories of famous local Jewish figures, including the Vilna Gaon
• See remnants of a vibrant world that once flourished and was later destroyed
